On Thanksgiving, the Park County Sheriff’s Office said that Lang was last seen on Sunday, Nov. 24 headed to Summit County.

PARK COUNTY, Colo. — Police are asking for helping finding a woman who went missing last week after her family believes she left for a trip to the mountains.

According to a Facebook post from the Park County Sheriff’s Office, 46-year-old Jayna Lang was last seen on Sunday, Nov. 24 in Littleton.

Lang’s brother, Eric Horvat, said she was heading to Summit County that day. His family has not heard from her since.

“She was leaving on Sunday to go to Silverthorne to the factory outlet shops,” he said. “The next day her work called and said she didn’t show up to work.”

Horvat said his sister had never done something like this.

“We have had some hard family times the last couple of years. It has been rough on all of us… but we have stuck together,” he said.

He described his sister as your typical all-American girl.

“Very outgoing, very compassionate, very caring person.. super athletic she did triathlons, marathons. Loves the outdoors, loves dogs,” said Horvat.

Horvat said his sister drives a White 2016 Toyota 4-Runner SUV, similar to the one pictured below, with a license plate that says “JAYNA”.

Horvat said someone contacted his family to say they might have seen her vehicle driving from Breckenridge to Keystone on Highway 6 on Wednesday night.

The post from the Park County Sheriff’s Office said Lang also liked to visit Park County, especially the Indian Mountain Subdivision.

Horvat said he just wants his sister to come home.

“Come home Jayna we miss you,” he said. “Be great to have you home for the holidays.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Park County Sheriff’s Office at  (719) 836-4122 and select option 5 to contact Park County Sheriff’s Deputies.
