Powerful wind gusts ripped across Colorado, causing hundreds of flights to be delayed or canceled at Denver International Airport.
COLORADO, USA — Hundreds of flights have been delayed or canceled at Denver’s airport on Monday.
As of 3:30 p.m. Monday, 1,022 flights have been delayed and 44 have been canceled at Denver International Airport, according to FlightAware.
Denver International Airport officials said travelers should be sure to check their airline for the latest flight status information.
Strong gusty winds are possible into Tuesday morning across Colorado, including the Denver metro area and foothills. A High Wind Warning is in effect through 6 a.m. Tuesday for the foothills, and until midnight Monday for near the foothills.
