Police said the child was seen in a 1998 Honda Accord driven by Jason Lujan.

ARVADA, Colo. — Arvada Police asked for the public’s help Thursday afternoon with finding a possibly missing or abducted child.

The Arvada Police Department said the unidentified child, described as a 10- to 13-year-old girl with shoulder-length, tangled dark blonde or brown hair, was seen riding in a gold or tan 1998 Honda Accord with a missing hood. It has Colorado license plates with the number BCF-A62.

The car is being driven by 37-year-old Jason Lujan, according to police.

Lujan is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and about 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police said multiple people called 911 Thursday morning after seeing the girl in distress. Officers spotted the car in Arvada and Wheat Ridge, but the driver eluded officers, according to police. It was last seen near Pecos Street and Thornton Parkway in Federal Heights.

Anyone who sees the car or Lujan is asked to call 911 regarding Arvada PD case #AR24-002256.
