Prem bosses question handball law
Premier League managers have told league chiefs they have “absolutely no idea” what the handball law is supposed to be.
Now top-flight leaders are asking coaches and players to help them determine where referees should draw a line on handball and other incidents.
League leaders also concede that VAR delays are making the match-going experience “poor” for fans.
Despite that, they still insist that Prem referees are “as good if not better than they have ever been”.
‘Always United’ for young star
Willy Kambwala has revealed that he only ever wanted to play for Manchester United.
He told MUFC: “The dream was about Man United. And that’s it. No other club.
“Even England, I wasn’t thinking about England. I was just thinking about Man United. I don’t know why but, since as far back as I can remember, it was just Man United.
“I couldn’t watch [that much] football but it was Man United, Man United all the time.
“That’s the dream I had. So, to be here, was just so special to me because it was the thing I wanted.”

United boost in De Jong chase
Manchester United have reportedly received a boost in their pursuit of long-time transfer target Frenkie de Jong.
Reports are emerging that he could be open to a Man Utd switch in the summer, despite his contract running until 2026.
Journalist Lluis Canut has claimed the lack of trophies Barcelona have won since De Jong arrived at the Nou Camp – one LaLiga title, one Copa del Rey and one Spanish Super Cup – has left the midfielder frustrated.
Speaking to Esport3, Canut said: “De Jong has not given the green light, but he is no longer closing the door on leaving Barca as he did two seasons ago, when he had interest, especially from Manchester United, in going to play with the coach who had him at Ajax – Ten Hag.
“De Jong would be willing to leave Barca at the end of this season.”
