No evacuation orders have been issued in connection with the fire in Adams County.
BRIGHTON, Colo. — A wildfire has burned at least 10 acres southeast of Barr Lake in Adams County on Tuesday afternoon, the Brighton Fire Department said.
Firefighters said no buildings have been damaged by the fire, which is burning near Picadilly Road and East 132nd Avenue. Firefighters are working to protect homes and barns in the area.
No evacuation orders have been issued in connection with the fire.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife said the fire is burning on Barr Lake State Park property. They said the park’s nature center is closed as a precaution.
