Manchester United landed a dream semi-final tie against Championship side Coventry, just minutes after an incredible 4-3 comeback win over Liverpool.

The other draw saw holders Manchester City paired with Chelsea, who beat Leicester 3-2 earlier today.

But some supporters were not happy with how the draw was carried out.

Taking place live on ITV, Ian Wright drew balls in front of Roy Keane and Graeme Souness in the studio.

They remained seated as Wright rummaged around in bags before showing the numbers to the camera.

However, the audience had not been told beforehand which number related to which team.

And the casual vibe was a far cry away from most draws, which usually take place with pundits standing up on the side of a pitch.

It caused some fans to hit out at the “unprofessional” new format, while also claiming the draw was the “most fixed ever” due to the lack of transparency over the teams’ numbers.

One supporter said: “This is the most fixed FA Cup draw I’ve ever seen. So unprofessional.”

Another declared: “Draw for FA Cup is a fix! Didn’t say who had what number firstly.”

One noted: “Since when have we ever had an FA Cup draw without it being announced who was each number beforehand?”

Another added: “FA Cup draw was a complete fix, didn’t tell us the numbers.”

TV schedules and kick-off times are yet to be confirmed for the FA Cup semis.

But they will take place on weekend of April 20/21, with the final occurring on May 25.
