CU is back in the national spotlight, with its first game on NBC since 1995, as the Buffs take the field under Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders.

BOULDER, Colo. — Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders and the CU Buffs will be on national television for the opening two games of the 2024 football season.

The Colorado Buffaloes open the 2024 football season on Thursday, Aug. 29, against North Dakota State. The game will air on ESPN at 6:30 p.m. from Folsom Field in Boulder.

CU and the Nebraska Cornhuskers will play on NBC during a Week 2 rivalry game. The game will kickoff at 5:30 p.m. MT on Saturday, Sept. 7, on 9NEWS and NBC affiliates across the country.

The college football Week 2 game will be part of NBC’s “Big Ten Saturday Night” football showcase, which is returning for a second year, NBC announced.
