Roads in the area are expected to be closed for several hours on Monday.
ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — One person was killed and four others were taken to the hospital after a crash Monday afternoon near East Smoky Hill Road and South Liverpool Street.
The head-on crash happened around noon at the intersection just west of E-470 near the Southlands shopping center.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office did not have any other information about the cause of the crash or the condition of the people who were taken to the hospital.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, southbound South Piccadilly Street at East Smoky Hill Road and westbound East Smoky Hill Road at South Piccadilly Street are expected to be closed for the next several hours.
