DENVER — Q. Dr. Grenardo, weight loss gets harder and harder for women as we age, is there a reason why?
A. There are a lot of factors…metabolism slows down as we age, which means we’re not able to burn as many calories as we could before. A. A. Ozempic is a fantastic medication for a lot of people…and the FDA put it on a short list because people who really needed the medication, those with diabetes, weren’t able to get it.
With those compounded medications…make sure…where you’re getting them from, with a prescription, are cleared and you’re comfortable with your provider.
