Sanders commented on Kelce’s Instagram post Thursday. Kelce responded, complimenting Sanders’ “vibes.”
BOULDER, Colo. — Like most of the world, Colorado coach Deion Sanders appears to be a Travis Kelce fan.
Sanders, known as Coach Prime, commented on an Instagram picture Kelce posted on Thursday saying, “My Dawg on the Runway of life and he’s WALKING his WALK! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.”
Kelce responded, “you know the vibes PRIME!! 🙌🏻”
Sanders was hired as head coach of the University of Colorado football team in December 2022 and has led the Buffaloes to a 4-5 record so far this season.
Before becoming a coach, Sanders played in the NFL from 1989 until 2001 and won two Super Bowls with the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys. He then came out of retirement in 2004 and played for two more seasons. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility in 2011.
Sanders also played in the MLB and is the only player to hit a home run in the Majors and score a touchdown in the NFL in the same week.
Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, was already beloved by NFL fans before he began dating pop superstar Taylor Swift. Since then, his popularity has continued to skyrocket.
Swift has been spotted at multiple Chiefs games, cheering on Kelce and the team from a VIP box with Kelce’s family, Brittany Mahomes, and other celebrities.
On Thursday, Kelce was reportedly traveling to Argentina where Swift is performing on the international leg of her Eras Tour.
