Several Colorado football players said jewelry was taken from their lockers during a game at UCLA.

DENVER — Police in California say they’ve identified suspects in the theft of jewelry from the Colorado Buffaloes’ locker room during their game against the UCLA Bruins over the weekend.

According to NBC Investigations, Pasadena Police confirmed that several of the stolen items have been returned to the players and additional “items of interest” have been identified.

Police said the suspects are juveniles, but did not reveal their ages. They said search warrants were executed and that more information would be provided as the investigation progresses.

The department credited the people who reported leads to their tip line with helping them solve the case.

After the Buffaloes’ loss to the UCLA Bruins at the Rose Bowl last Saturday, multiple players said personal jewelry left in their locker room had disappeared. Well Off Media, operated by Deion Sanders Jr., posted a video of Colorado players outside the locker room after the game talking about the incident.

Pasadena Police said Monday the theft reportedly involved several pieces of jewelry and other miscellaneous personal and football items. They said the value of the loss had not been determined.

The Buffaloes will host the Oregon State Beavers at 8 p.m. Saturday. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN.
