Police looking for possible kidnapping victim in Colorado

Andrew Belrose’s vehicle is described as a 1990 GMC Savoy with Colorado plates numbered AWC-Z42. Police said the woman he’s with may be the victim of kidnapping.

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Commerce City Police said officers are looking for a wanted man traveling with a woman who may be a victim of kidnapping Saturday.

Police said investigators are trying to locate Andrew Belrose, who is wanted on an active felony warrant. They did not say what he was wanted for, or why they believed the woman was being held against her will.

Officers were able to locate the van after a 911 call, but Belrose and the woman did not cooperate with their commands to exit the van, police said.

Their vehicle is described as a 1990 GMC Savoy with Colorado license plates numbered AWC-Z42.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
