MANCHESTER UNITED stars Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund have withdrawn from the Denmark squad.
The duo were both subbed off during the Red Devils’ 1-0 win over Luton on Saturday.
Both have now pulled out of important international matches with injury.
They have been replaced by Jens Stryger Larsen and Jesper Lindstrom in the squad.
Denmark have not yet qualified for Euro 2024 and are level on points at the top with Slovenia and four ahead of Kazakhstan in third.
The Danes welcome the group leaders on Friday before their last game away versus Northern Ireland.
Eriksen went down with injury during the clash with Luton and was taken off after 40 minutes for Mason Mount.
And with 11 minutes remaining of the game, Anthony Martial replaced Hojliund.
After the final whistle, boss Erik ten Hag would not be drawn in to questions about their fitness.
He said: ““In this moment, I can’t tell anything about it because I don’t know.
“We do an assessment and we have to wait 24 hours for the conclusion.
“So we’ll give the medical team 24 hours to see what the problem is – if there is a problem.”
United have suffered several injuries this season and the club has launched an investigation into why so many players are sidelined with problems.
Hojlund has already missed matches this season due to a back injury.
