Ten hag banned
Erik ten Hag will serve a one-match ban after his booking against Luton Town.
He won’t be on the touchline against Everton.
Will they miss him?
Hojlund blow
Erik ten Hag gave little away about the severity of Rasmus Hojlund’s injury after he was forced off in Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Luton.
The Dane, 20, missed two glorious chances to score his first Premier League goal on Saturday afternoon.
He then went down in the 79th minute and appeared to be holding his hamstring, before he was replaced by Anthony Martial.
And Ten Hag failed to reassure concerned Man Utd fans with his post-match comments.
He said: “In this moment I can’t comment anything.
“You have to wait 24 hours. Give them 24 hours to see what is the problem, if there is one.”
A frustration….
Ten Hag was booked today and his frustration was there to be seen as he chirped away at the fourth official all afternoon.
He’s under immense pressure and is the bookies’ favourite to be the next Premier League boss to vacate their job.
But he has claimed more points in his first 50 Premier League games in charge (96) than Jurgen Klopp did at Liverpool (92).

The manager was also full of praise for Rasmus Hojlund and – despite a couple of glaring misses in search of his first league goal – insists the goals are not far away.
He told MOTD: “Rasmus Hojlund has scored five times in the Champions League. He has the confidence and the goals will come.
“It would be better for composure, for the calmness, for the manager, the coaches and the team if we score early on, but if you don’t you have to keep going. I have to compliment the team that they kept going, kept organised and didn’t give anything away.”
Ten Hag speaks
The Man Utd manager hailed a ‘good day’ when speaking to Match Of The Day but was frustrated his side couldn’t score any of their first half chances.
He said: “It is a good day. We needed the win and we got it but we could make life more easy by scoring early on and getting a second. We created the chances but we didn’t score apart from one.
“I am happy with that and I am happy with the clean sheet. We had many chances before half time and you should net one of them. After half time, get the second and then the game is gone.
“Now you keep them alive and they can get an equaliser from balls dropping in the wrong place.”
