MIAMI — Those who hear “snakes” and “airplane” in the same sentence may default to thinking about the movie starring Emmy award-winning actor Samuel L. Jackson. In this case, however, no one was hurt.
TSA officials found a bag of live snakes in a man’s pants last Friday at Miami International Airport, according to a post on X.
The agency’s spokesperson posted a picture of the find on social media, where it seems like the traveler had two small pink-colored snakes in an Oakley sunglass case. White packaging material poured out of the bag as an official revealed the two reptiles in their hand.

Regional U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials and local police assisted the agency in the recovery and turned them over to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission afterward, according to the post.
No other information is known about the man or how the snakes ended up in his possession.
