EDERSON was taken off in tears and anger after a sickening collision against Tottenham left Manchester City with a goalkeeping headache for the Premier League finale.
The stopper swapped agitated words with boss Pep Guardiola and hit his seat in frustration after eventually being subbed off.
Back-up keeper Stefan Ortega had to come on for City as they defended a 1-0 lead.
Ederson was caught in the face by Cristian Romero’s lunge.

Ederson was cleared to carry on – but barely minutes later was replaced by Ortega.
Victory would put Guardiola’s men in pole position to retain their Premier League crown ahead of Arsenal on the final day.
