Wyoming Highway Patrol said a large grass fire is burning west of Cheyenne.
CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Interstate 25 was closed at the Colorado-Wyoming border Saturday due to a wildfire.
Wyoming Highway Patrol said at 10:49 a.m. that the fire west of Cheyenne was not under control and that first responders were working to combat the blaze.

I-25 is closed at Mile Point 281, and there is no estimated time for reopening. Officials warned multiple closures could be put in place in the surrounding Cheyenne area as the situation progresses.
Colorado State Patrol in Larimer County said traffic is being diverted at Owl Canyon Road over Highway 287.
