However, having turned 18 in January, Berry has now been offered a contract by Nottingham Forest following a successful trial.

According to Sky Sports, the contract is set to run to the summer of 2025.

Berry is understood to have also courted interest from a number of other top-flight outfits.

These include Premier League side Burnley and Scottish Premiership leaders Rangers.

Berry also spent time on trial with the Clarets and Gers.

While on trial at Forest, Berry actually scored in a 2-2 draw against Man Utd Under-18s on February 17.

The England Under-17 international featured 22 times for Man Utd Under-18s last season.

Berry started out his youth career as a winger before moving into central midfield.
