Traffic from southbound I-25 was stopped due to the crash.
THORNTON, Colo. — A Monday morning crash closed all lanes of eastbound E-470 at Washington Street. All lanes of eastbound E-470 were closed between Sheridan Parkway and Interstate 25, according to Broomfield Police.
At about 5:45 a.m., a Ford Explorer rolled on the ramp from I-25 to E-470, according to Sgt. Patrick Rice of Colorado State Patrol. Two people were taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to Rice.
Crews from Colorado State Patrol and Broomfield Police are on scene investigating the crash.
