Three children were taken to the hospital with minor injures after a deck collapsed during a child’s birthday party with about 50 people on it, Elk Creek Fire said.
EVERGREEN, Colo. — Three children were taken to the hospital after a deck collapsed with about 50 people on it in Evergreen Saturday afternoon. Officials did not provide ages of those injured.
Elk Creek Fire Department said crews responded around 1:50 p.m. after the deck collapse was reported during a child’s birthday party in the 8500 block of Armadillo Trail.
The three children who were taken to the hospital suffered minor injuries. The fire department said more children were taken to the hospital by their parents.
