ATLANTA — Polynesian sauce lovers beware — Chick-fil-A has issued a recall of all its Polynesian sauce dipping cups over allergy concerns.

In an alert issued on the Chick-fil-A website and app to customers on Wednesday, the Atlanta-based fast-food chain warned people who took home Polynesian sauce dipping containers from their restaurants from Feb. 14 through Feb. 27 to throw them out due to cups that “may contain a different sauce that includes wheat and soy allergens.”

The recall is nationwide and not just for its Atlanta-area locations, according to Chick-fil-A. The recall also applies to all Polynesian sauce dipping cups that were handed out to customers during that time frame.

Chick-fil-A’s Polynesian sauce includes the following ingredients: Sugar, soybean oil, water, corn syrup, corn-cider vinegar, distilled vinegar, tomato paste, salt, paprika, mustard seed, modified cornstarch, beet juice (color), onion, garlic, xanthan gum, propylene glycol alginate, natural flavor.

Customers with questions about the recall can call Chick-fil-A CARES at 866-232-2040 for more information.
