Denver Police said they’re aware of a video circulating online but said no one has come forward as a victim.
DENVER — Denver Police said Tuesday that they’re working to identify the person who appears to have been punched in the face at Monday night’s Denver Nuggets game by one of Nikola Jokic’s brothers.
A video of the incident has been circulating on social media. Denver Police said they’re aware of the video that appears to show an incident that occurred at Ball Arena during the playoff game against the L.A. Lakers. They said no one reported the incident at the arena or after the game was over.
The video shows Jokic’s brother charging toward another person in the stands and then shows him appearing to punch a man wearing a blue shirt in the face. Jokic’s wife is nearby holding their daughter.

As of noon Tuesday, police said no one has come forward as a victim of the incident. They’re “actively working” to identify the person in the video who was struck and encourage anyone who was involved or witnessed the incident firsthand to contact the Denver Police.
The Nuggets trailed for much of Monday’s playoff game but secured the win on a buzzer-beater by Jamal Murray to take a 2-0 series lead over the Lakers. The 101-99 victory also extended Denver’s winning streak over Los Angeles to 10 consecutive games.
Game 3 in the series is set for Thursday at 8 p.m. in Los Angeles.
