STEVE COOPER has rejected an offer from Burnley as he wants a Premier League job, according to reports.
The 44-year-old has been out of work since he was sacked by Nottingham Forest in December.

Burnley are on the lookout for a new manager with Vincent Kompany set to join Bayern Munich.
The Clarets have approached Cooper over a move to Turf Moor, according The Athletic.
However, the Welshman has snubbed the recently relegated club as he eyes a return to the Premier League.
And he has held discussions with clubs over “existing and potential vacancies”.
Reports suggest that Cooper is a candidate for the Leicester job as the Foxes are set to see promotion-winning boss Enzo Maresca head to Chelsea to replace Mauricio Pochettino.
Brighton also remain without a manager after Roberto De Zerbi quit.
Cooper made a name for himself after winning the Under-17s World Cup with England.
He then took charge of Swansea as the club fell short of promotion twice in the play-offs.

Cooper joined Forest in 2021 when they were in crisis at the bottom of the Championship.
But he oversaw an incredible turnaround that ended in them earning promotion to the Premier League.
Cooper then helped them avoid relegation in their first season back in the top-flight.
But with the club embroiled in another relegation battle, he was axed and replaced by Nuno Espirito Santo.
After being rejected by Cooper, Burnley have been linked with Scott Parker and Frank Lampard.
