Evergreen High School evacuated after smoke found

EVERGREEN, Colo. — Evergreen High School was evacuated Friday afternoon while firefighters responded to a report of smoke. 

A spokesperson for Evergreen Fire Rescue said they were alerted to smoke in the school’s weight room a few minutes after 1 p.m. The school is located at 29300 Buffalo Park Road.

The entire school was evacuated safely, the fire department said. Firefighters were looking for the source of the smoke. 

This is a developing situation. 9NEWS will provide more information as it is confirmed.
