LAKEWOOD, Colo. — A teenager was seriously injured in a shooting at a party early Saturday morning, Lakewood Police said.
Around 3:52 a.m., officers responded to the shooting reported in the 1100 block of Garrison Street.
Authorities believe after an initial investigation that there was a party where an argument escalated to a shooting.
The male victim was taken to the hospital where he was in critical condition as of Saturday afternoon.
Police believe the shooting was an isolated incident and that there is no threat to the community.
No suspect information or any additional details were released.
