BRIGHTON, Colo. — One person was injured after a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle Tuesday morning in Brighton.
Brighton Police first posted about the crash around 6:50 a.m. on the social platform X. Interstate 76 Frontage Road was closed in both directions between East Bridge Street and East Bromley Lane, police said. Drivers can use Longspur Drive as an alternate route around the closure, according to police.
The injured person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to police.
It is unknown how long the road closure will remain in place.
