The Broncos will be paying homage to the 1977 team when they play the Raiders on Sunday.

DENVER — This Sunday, the Denver Broncos are going to party like it’s 1977.

Fans who watch the Broncos’ game against the rival Las Vegas Raiders will notice that the players’ uniforms and the field will sport a look that takes them back in time.

The Broncos will be paying homage to the 1977 team on Sunday, according to a post on the team’s social media.

“It’s just so beautiful,” one post read, accompanied by photos of players practicing in the classic throwback gear.

The players are excited about wearing the old uniforms, including wide receiver Courtland Sutton.

“Y’all seen them bad boys. Them joints sweet,” Sutton said in a video shared on the Broncos’ social media. “I’m looking forward to Sunday putting the threads on. The helmets are some good eye candy for sure.”

Two members of the 1977 team, Steve Foley and Riley Odoms, will be inducted into the Broncos’ Ring of Fame at halftime. Randy Gradishar will be recognized before the 2:05 p.m. game for his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
