Ten Hag led the session at Carrington as the injured pair returned to first-team duties.

Mount was named as a starter against Fulham and Brighton earlier this season.

He was taken off at halftime against the Seagulls after suffering a hamstring strain.

The knock has kept the ex-Chelsea playmaker out of the last three games.

Mount joined United in July 2023, with the Red Devils securing the England star’s services for £60million.

Hojlund meanwhile has yet to pull on a Utd shirt so far this campaign.

The £75million Danish striker injured his hamstring during the club’s pre-season tour of the USA.

He scored 10 times in the Premier League last season after joining from Atalanta.

Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Christian Eriksen all netted a brace each in the 7-0 demolition.

The Red Devils go into Saturday’s clash at Selhurst Park looking to push up the table following a mixed start.

They currently sit 10th, with two wins and two losses from their opening four matches.

Off the field, a decision on the future of Old Trafford is expected before the end of the year.

Ex-Utd full-back Gary Neville has been appointed to a new task force looking into the future of the iconic stadium.

Minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is now in charge of football operations and is reportedly desperate to build a new stadium.

It’s reckoned a new arena could seat 100,000 people and end up costing an eye-watering £2BILLION.
