Police are still investigating the motive for the attack Friday night in the University Hill neighborhood.
BOULDER, Colo. — Police are investigating an attack on a Boulder City Council member and two others Friday night.
The Boulder Police Department posted on social media Saturday that the attack happened just before 6:30 p.m. Friday near 1120 13th Street in the University Hill neighborhood.
Councilmember Tara Winer was punched, according to police. It’s not clear how the other two were attacked but none of them were seriously injured.
The suspect, 26-year-old Chase Raskin, was arrested soon after the attack on suspicion of felony menacing and two counts of third-degree assault, police said.
The motive for the attack is under investigation.
