WESTMINSTER, Colo. — Authorities are investigating a shooting that injured a Colorado State Patrol (CSP) trooper Saturday afternoon, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office said.
The shooting happened on U.S. 36 in the area of Federal Boulevard.
U.S. 36 was closed in both directions between Federal Boulevard and Sheridan Boulevard.
Westminster Police also responded to the scene.
