Travelers should check their flight status before heading to DIA.
DENVER — Hundreds of flights have been delayed and dozens canceled at Denver International Airport due to a winter storm in the Rocky Mountain region that moved in on Thanksgiving
As of 11:30 a.m., there were 228 flights delayed and 5 canceled Saturday, according to FlightAware.
Affected airlines included Southwest, SkyWest, United, Delta, Frontier and American Airlines.
DIA advises all passengers to contact their airline to check their flight status before going to the airport, and to plan extra time for traveling to the airport.
