DENVER — A woman’s body was found outside near downtown early Thursday morning, Denver Police said. They’re now investigating her death as a homicide.
Police first posted about the woman’s body being found just before 1 a.m. Her body was found in the 3500 block of Rockmont Drive. It’s near Cuernavaca Park and the Westend Apartments which are to the east and south of 20th Street and Interstate 25.
Few details about the woman’s death were released by police.
The victim’s identity will be released by the Denver Medical Examiner’s Office after her next of kin are notified.
