SEDALIA, Colo. — West Metro Fire Rescue said crews responded to an experimental plane crash in Douglas County Friday afternoon.
At 12:54 p.m., the department said the crash was reported in the area of the 6500 block of Roxborough Park Road.
Douglas County’s helicopter located the crash site outside of Roxborough State Park, the department said around 1:20 p.m.
Crews were able to get to the scene and were walking the pilot involved in the crash out of the area, who was not injured.
