Crews are working a wildland fire in the area of the National Center for Atmospheric Research southwest of Boulder.
BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — Crews are working a wildfire near the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) Laboratory in Boulder County Friday morning.
Boulder Police said at 11:46 a.m. on social media that multiple agencies were responding including Boulder Fire.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area around NCAR due to the fire. All trails in the area are closed and multiple fire apparatus are trying to fight the fire, police said on X.
Mountain View Fire Rescue posted a map of the fire’s approximate location southwest of Boulder, and said that there do not appear to be any structures threatened.
