Ex-United star scores four

Ex-Man Utd star Romelu Lukaku hit Azerbaijan for four as he jumped up the all-time international goal list to seventh.

The striker netted a brilliant hat-trick inside 30 minutes of the Euros qualifier on Sunday.

And Lukaku made it four moments later before Leandro Trossard of Arsenal’s 90th minute effort completed a 5-0 thrashing.

Belgium had already qualified for next summer’s tournament.

But the result saw them seal top spot in Group F, one point ahead of rivals Austria.

Sanchez’s poo reveal

Alexis Sanchez has fumed that POO trickled into the showers after Chile’s home clash with Paraguay.

The match took place at Colo Colo’s 43,595-capacity Estadio Monumental David Arellano.

Sanchez and Co endured a frustrating evening, drawing 0-0 with Paraguay despite Robert Rojas’ 44th minute red card.

Things got even worse, however, when they attempted to take their post match showers.

Explaining the vile situation, the former Manchester United and Arsenal star fumed: “At the Colo-Colo stadium I was sitting stretching and excrement from ourselves in the shower came out of the drain.”

Everton stars targeted

Man Utd could reportedly be ready to pounce for two Everton stars if the club’s problems continue.

The Toffees were hit with a ten-point deduction this week after being found guilty of breaching financial fair play rules.

Things could go from bad to worse for Everton too with Leeds, Leicester and Burnley reportedly readying a £300million compensation claim against the club.

If ordered to settle Everton will enter administration – and could even face a further nine-point deduction – as new owners 777Partners will reportedly be unable to pay up.

And that means they could be forced to sell some of their prized assets.

United are understood to have a long-term interest in Amadou Onana and could make a move for the midfielder if Everton are plunged into uncertainty, report The Express.

United are also said to be interested in youngster Jarrad Branthwaite.

The defender has caught the eye since breaking into the Everton first-team under Sean Dyche, having impressed on loan at PSV last season.

Rashford in training

Marcus Rashford was all smiles in England training amid fears he was going to be sidelined with injury.

The Manchester United star was subbed off for Cole Palmer after 61 minutes during Friday’s 2-0 win over Malta.

Rashford had collided with Trent Alexander-Arnold just before and looked in pain as he trudged off the pitch.

Manager Gareth Southgate attempted to play down injury fears, saying: “I think he is probably okay.

“We just thought given the nature of the collision it was a chance to get Cole into the game.

“I haven’t assessed too much but I think he was okay when he came off.”
