3 injured in Aurora house party shooting

One person suffered life-threatening injuries in the shooting Saturday night on South Uravan Street, Aurora Police said.

AURORA, Colo. — Three people were injured in a shooting at a house party Saturday night, the Aurora Police Department said. 

Police said the shooting happened around 9:15 p.m. in the 1400 block of South Uravan Street, near Highland Hollows Park. 

Three victims, who were all youths, were taken to the hospital, including one who suffered life-threatening injuries, police said.

No arrests have been made.

Police said investigators have developed information that the shooting was an isolated incident, and that there was no threat to the general public.

Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or metrodenvercrimestoppers.com. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000. 

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation. 

From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
