The Colorado State Patrol said the crash Wednesday involved a wrong-way driver.
THORNTON, Colo. — Two people are dead after a wrong-way crash on E-470 on Wednesday afternoon. according to Colorado State Patrol (CSP).
CSP said four vehicles were involved in the crash that happened just after 4:30 p.m. on E-470 at Colorado Boulevard in Thornton. Multiple other people were taken to the hospital. It’s not known exactly how many were hurt.
One northbound lane and both southbound lanes were shut down after the crash, CSP said.
CSP has not released any additional details.
