Police said officers conducted a welfare check and found the victim with apparent injuries.
BROOMFIELD, Colo. — Police said they are investigating a homicide after a woman was found dead Thursday in a neighborhood in northern Broomfield.
Officers were called to the 3100 block of Promontory Loop about 1 p.m. Thursday to conduct a welfare check. That’s in the Anthem Highlands neighborhood, south of East Baseline Road and west of Sheridan Parkway. When officers arrived on scene, they found a deceased woman with apparent injuries, according to the Broomfield Police Department.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is active.
The Adams and Broomfield County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s name after notification of next of kin.
