Travelers should check their flight status before heading to the airport.
DENVER — Flights have been delayed at Denver International Airport (DIA) while a winter storm moves into the Rocky Mountain region.
As of 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, 103 flights were delayed and nine were canceled, according to FlightAware.
Affected airlines included Southwest, SkyWest, United Delta, Frontier, British Airways, American Airlines, Lufthansa and JetBlue.
A Winter Storm Watch is up for the Denver area, with 4-10 inches of snow the most likely snowfall range across most of the metro area, although snowfall amounts will vary widely across a small area.
The Watch is in place from Saturday morning until Sunday morning.
DIA advises all passengers to contact their airline to check their flight status before going to the airport, and to plan extra time for traveling to the airport.
