If the teams do see storms tonight at Arrowhead Stadium, they could be strong ones with winds up to 40 mph.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Potential storms in Kansas City, Missouri, could affect the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs matchup Thursday night.
9NEWS meteorologist Chris Bianchi said wind will be whipping up to 40 mph nearly all game long, with temperatures hovering around the low-to-mid 70s.
There’s a chance for storms after about 8 p.m. in Kansas City, which could lead to disruptions in gameplay for the second half. If they do see storms, they could be strong ones.
The 1-4 Broncos face the 4-1 Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium, where the Broncos are looking for their first divisional win of the season. Kickoff is set for 6:15 p.m. MT.
