DIVIDE, Colo — Evacuations have been ordered due to a wildfire burning between Divide and Florissant in Teller County Monday afternoon, the Teller County Sheriff’s Office said.
The sheriff’s office said the fire started as a structure fire near Beaver Lake Circle in the Highland Lakes area. The first evacuations were ordered around 4:30 p.m.
An evacuation order is in place for the Highland Lakes subdivision and an area east of the subdivision.
