SCOTLAND are hoping to beat the odds by lifting the Euro 2024 title this summer – but their pathway to success will be tricky from the start.

Steve Clarke guided his side to a second successive Euro qualification by finishing second in qualifying Group A behind three-time winners Spain.

And the Scottish boss will hope that he can become the first-ever manager to lead the Tartans to European silverware.

But Scotland have been thrown into a difficult group which includes, Hungary, Switzerland and hosts Germany.

Furthermore, the Scottish stars haven’t had the best of form going into the tournament, so they’ll need some sort of inspiration to help them achieve their dreams.

When is Scotland’s first game at Euro 2024?

Scotland get their Euro 2024 campaign underway against three-time winners and hosts Germany on Friday, June 14.

It is scheduled to kick off at 8pm BST – 9pm local time – and will be aired on ITV.

Allianz Arena – home of Bayern Munich is the chosen venue for this huge opening fixture and it can host approximately 75,024 passionate fans.

Ilkay Gundogan‘s strike earned Germany a narrow 3-2 win when the sides last met back in a 2015 qualifying contest.
