Frosty the Snowman and the Grinch are back on NBC, but Thursday’s airings on 9NEWS will be delayed due to the Cavs-Nuggets game.

DENVER — The holiday season has arrived and NBC has a full slate of holiday programming planned through New Year’s Day.

“How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and “Frosty the Snowman” are scheduled to air on NBC on Thursday, Dec. 5.

The classic animated holiday shows will air Thursday in primetime for most NBC viewers.

However, if you live in Colorado, including the Denver metro area, the shows will not air at their regularly scheduled times in primetime. That’s because 9NEWS will be airing the Denver Nuggets game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Coverage of the Nuggets and Cavaliers begins at 4:30 p.m. on 9NEWS.
