In anticipation of large impacts from the upcoming snowstorm, 9NEWS Mornings will air on Channel 9 from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.
DENVER — The Front Range could see a lot of snow Wednesday into Friday. To provide our viewers with the latest developments and impacts of the storm, 9NEWS will broadcast weather coverage from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.
Viewers can watch the TODAY Show on KTVD Channel 20 starting at 7 a.m. Thursday. On Xfinity, that’s channel 657.
Colorado and Company will be preempted for weather coverage on Thursday. TODAY with Hoda and Jena, which normally airs at 11 a.m. will also not be broadcast on Thursday.
Viewers can also watch 9NEWS’ extended weather coverage streaming on 9NEWS+.
Several forecasting models are predicting Denver could see its biggest snowstorm in years this week.
A winter weather storm system is forecast to arrive in Colorado on Wednesday with impacts continuing to affect the state on Thursday and Friday. The Denver metro area is under a Winter Storm Warning.
The National Weather Service said on Tuesday afternoon to expect 9 to 18 inches of snow along the Interstate 25 corridor in Denver, Golden and Boulder between Wednesday and Friday, with feet of snow falling in the foothills.
