The last vehicle the suspect stole is a 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel with Colorado plates AKW F25, a Colorado State Patrol spokesperson said.
LONGMONT, Colo. — A man armed with a handgun led multiple law enforcement agencies on a miles-long pursuit Sunday morning.
Colorado State Patrol (CSP) said they were notified of a stolen vehicle pursuit at about 8:30 a.m. in the area of Interstate 25 and Highway 119 on the Weld County side.
The suspect then stole an unmarked CSP patrol vehicle and continued leading the pursuit, CSP said. The CSP vehicle ended up disabled in Longmont around Main Street and Highway 66, and the suspect ran from the area and carjacked someone.
A short time later, a Dodge truck was reportedly stolen by the suspect in Longmont, CSP said. The stolen Dodge is a 2022 Ram 1500 Rebel with Colorado plates AKW F25. The truck had green business decals on the doors and tailgate. Anyone who sees the truck is asked to call 911.
The suspect was last seen wearing maroon shorts and a black baseball cap, CSP said.
