COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — A fire broke out at a warehouse in Commerce City Saturday morning.
South Adams Fire posted just after 7 a.m. that crews were at the scene at 5022 E. 60th Ave. near the intersection of Vasquez Boulevard.
Active flames and a black plume of smoke could be seen coming from the scene.
South Adams Fire said crews were working defensive operations on the fire, and that updates would be given when available.
Commerce City Police said that part of East 60th Avenue is closed while crews work the fire, and people are asked to avoid the area.
