Soldiers injured in Fort Carson helicopter training crash

FORT CARSON, Colo. — Two soldiers suffered minor injuries when the Army helicopter they were training in crashed on Fort Carson around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to communication from Fort Carson. 

Fort Carson officials told KRDO in Colorado Springs the AH-64 Apache helicopter that crashed during a routine training exercise was from the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division. 

The two patients were transported to Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson told KRDO.

No further information from Fort Carson is available at this time.
