WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — Police are searching for the man who fired shots into another car in Wheat Ridge Tuesday afternoon.
The Wheat Ridge Police Department said it happened around 4:20 p.m. in the area of 44th Avenue and Youngfield Street. Police said it appears no one was shot, but one person was injured by glass breaking into his car. It’s unclear how badly the victim was injured.
Police said the suspect left the scene. They’ve asked neighboring law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for him.
Officers were still working to determine what led up to the shooting. Investigators were on the scene searching for evidence and interviewing witnesses.
