THORNTON, Colo. — There is a large police presence near a Thornton recreation center after a shooting near it early Tuesday morning.
Thornton Police said on social media that the shooting was in the 11100 block of Colorado Boulevard. That’s near East 112th Avenue in the area of the Margaret W. Carpenter Recreation Center.
Video from SKY9 shows two vehicles with windows damaged in the parking lot of the recreation center.
No other details about the incident were shared. 9NEWS has a crew headed to the scene and will provide updates as additional information is learned.
