Aurora Police are assisting Denver Police with a search warrant in the 1800 block of South Olathe Street. Residents in the area are asked to shelter in place.
AURORA, Colo. — The Aurora Police Department has issued a shelter-in-place order for residents in the 1800 block of South Olathe Street. That’s near East Mexico Avenue and South Buckley Road in Aurora.
The Aurora Police Department SWAT is assisting Denver Police with serving a search warrant in the area, according to Aurora Police. From SKY9 It appeared officers were focused on one home and people in protective gear were seen entering and exiting that home.
Around 7 a.m., Aurora Police posted the alert on the social platform X. The shelter-in-place order was issued for residents within a square block of the scene.
